The Podkova Restaurant is based in Olomouc at the foot of the Hanácký kopec (Haná hill) in Koželužská Street, in one of the most sought-after parts of the city and only a few minutes from the historical city centre and a few steps from the dominant St Wenceslas Cathedral. With a little bit of fantasy you can travel 200 years back in time to a period when the building, with its unique horse-shoe
ground plan, was incorporated into the then Olomouc fortification. The entire building as well as most of the surrounding houses was used by the Army and the site of the present-day restaurant was originally a bakery.

The unique interior is reminiscent of a chateau. The deliberately rugged core, boasting a capacity of about 70 seats and a stateroom for about 20 guests, is ideal not only for an amicable and a pleasant get-together over lunch or dinner, but also for adapting to any requirements.
